 BULL RIVER OUTFITTERS (2007) LTD SHIRAS MOOSE HUNTS 
The Bull River is home to some of the biggest Shiras Moose found anywhere. A smaller species than its northern cousins, mature bull's average 35" to 50" spreads and 700lbs to 900lbs. Tags are very limited which has helped maintain a healthy population of trophy bulls. The archery season begins in September and offers bow hunters the chance to hunt these bulls during the peak of the rut in early October. If you haven't experienced hunting moose during the rut then you are in for a thrilling experience as bulls become very aggressive responding to calls and seemingly fearless. The rifle season begins in late October when moose are at the tail end of the rut where snow and colder temperatures push bulls out of the more remote areas. Over the year's Bull River Outfitters clients have had a very high success rate of 90 % on trophy bulls and this is a very exciting hunt. We focus on hunting cut blocks accessible by logging roads and horses are always ready and available to take you into remote
drainages accessed only by horseback or foot for a more challenging hunt. Hunter's should be prepared for both methods of hunting depending on weather conditions. Tags are very limited on a trophy fee basis and advance booking is strongly advised.
