SHIRAS MOOSE

Bull River Adventures offers a unique hunt for Rocky Mountain Shiras Moose. The moose population, as is the case with all species, is carefully managed throughout British Columbia. Our area consistently produces 40" to 50" bulls with 55" plus bulls being a real possibility.

Bow hunters enjoy the opportunity to hunt these mountain giants in the peek of the rut while the rifle hunt takes place at the tail end of the rut and is equally as exciting.

In past seasons we have enjoyed great success on Trophy Bulls in the Bull River area. These large ungulates typically inhabit marshy valley bottoms but have also been located at high elevations as well. The hunter should be prepared for anything from marching the marshes to riding horseback or hiking into high alpine meadows. We recommend you book this popular hunt well in advance of your targeted hunting season as tags are limited.
